Here is the Kenmore Team month end real estate market update for the month of June 2011.
June 2011
Active Listings = 1238
Listings Sold = 273
Average Sold Price = $204,700
Listings Under Contract = 343
Average Days on the Market = 54
As compared to last month our numbers increased slightly across the board. Our active listing inventory increased from 1202 to 1238. Our listings sold increased from 254 homes sold in May to 273 sold in June. Our listings under contract also increased from 307 to 343. Average days on the market stayed pretty much the same from 56 to 54.
Here is what is sold in June by price breakdown…
$0,000 – $149,999 = 31%
$150,000 – $199,999 = 29%
$200,000-$249,999 = 16%
$250,000-$299,999 = 11%
$300,000-$349,999 = 5%
$350,000-$399,999 =3%
$400,000-$499,999 = 3%
$500,000+ = 6 homes sold
The June housing market was stable, reflected by the increase in the number of homes sold, and looks to continue according to the number of homes under contract. Interest rates remain at an all time low, so if you are looking to purchase a home, now may be the time.
