The City of Richland offers the Affordable Homebuyer Assistance Program (HAP) to qualified low to moderate-income, first-time homebuyer(s) who are in need of financial assistance to help purchase a home in Richland. These programs include:

Down Payment Assistance Program: $4,000
Infill Homeownership Gap Assistance: up to $24,000
Infill Homeownership Gap Assistance for Disabled Borrowers: $24,000

For a limited time there is an additional $6,000 grant available to use in combination with one of the City’s homebuyer programs. (other qualifications apply and a minimum contribution is required by borrower)
